My name is Mitch Morris. I have been teaching Biology classes at the Colbert County School
District since 2006. The first 10 years of my career were spent at Colbert County High School and I have
been teaching at Colbert Heights High School since 2016. My current teaching certificate is an Ed.S
in Teacher Leader from the University of North Alabama. I am currently the Cross-Country coach and B-
Team Boys Basketball coach.

I am married to Amy Gandy Morris. She is a kindergarten teacher at Howell Graves School. We
have 2 kids: Abby (currently attending the University of North Alabama) and Henry (a freshman in high
school).
