Cherokee High School is part of Colbert County's achievement of becoming the 1st K-12 School District in the U.S. to attain the National Certificate of STEM Teaching for Educators, the National Certificate of STEM Excellence for Schools, & the District National Certificate of STEM Excellence.
Starting this school year, it is now mandatory for all medications, including over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol and Benadryl, to have a PPA signed by a physician before the nurse can give the medication at school.
