Mr. Daryl Behel

Raised on a dairy farm in Greenhill, AL., I went to high school at Rogers High School, where I graduated in 1996.  I also graduated from Mississippi State University in 2000 with a B.S. Degree in Agriculture Education. I am currently in my 21st year of teaching.
Agriculture. I have taught 10 years in the state of Mississippi and now on my 10th in Alabama.

During my teaching career, I have served as the President of the Mississippi Association of Agriculture Education (MAVAT), I have served as the Region V Vice President of the National Association of Agriculture Educators (NAAE), and I have served as the President of
the Alabama Association of Agriculture Educators (AAAE).  Now I am currently the President–Elect for the Alabama Association of Career Technical Education (ALACTE). These professional organizations allow me to network with other agricultural educators, and
CTE teachers across the country so we can all better serve our students.
