My name is Roy Lawson and I am the new principal here at Cherokee High School. I've been in education for a little over 26 years.  I have proudly served as Teacher, Coach, Vice Principal, Principal, Director of State Testing, Assistant Super Intendent, and Super Intendent.

I am married to Abby Lawson, and we have one son, Camden.

I look forward to getting to know and serving Cherokee High School and its community.
