Privacy Policy
It is the policy of the Colbert County Board of Education that, pursuant to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of December 2015 and the Title VII-B of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act of 2001 (42 USC 111431, et seq.), as amended by the ESSA, and each and every other law, rule, regulation or code, regarding a free and appropriate education, all students, regardless of status, placement, shall have equal access to appropriate education, including public preschool education. All students shall be provided the opportunity to attain the challenging content and student performance standards established by the state of Alabama, without stigma or isolation on any basis. The Colbert County Board of Education does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion, or age in its programs and activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups.
